Our technicians are trained to provide an unmatched level of security and service, and they are always friendly (that’s still important, right?). If you only have a one-time need for shredding, no problem, we will utilize the same hands-free process to ensure that all of your sensitive information is securely shredded.
Deposit Documents
Employees use Shred Ace’s locked security container for the retention of confidential documents. You can utilize different types of containers and multiple containers in any combination.
Will I be provided with a key to the container? Yes. Ultimately it is your information, so you should always have access to it in case something was deposited by mistake.
Do I have to pay a separate fee for the shredding containers? Yes, the containers are provided at an additional cost.
Pickup
A Shred Ace shredding technician arrives to collect your confidential materials and securely transport them down to our shredding truck, which is parked at your location.
Can you shred extra materials from time to time? Sure, that is never an issue- just let our technician know which materials need to be destroyed and we’ll take it from there.
On-Site Destruction
Shred Ace’s shredding trucks will lift the secure container into the shredding hopper, where your materials will be shredded quickly and securely right before your eyes. The patented tunnel on our mobile fleet ensures that your documents will not be affected by wind or other elements.
How fast are your shredding trucks? FAST! Our mobile shredding trucks can shred up to 5,000 lbs. of paper per hour, which is the equivalent to approximately 120 file boxes.
Certificate of Destruction
Once the shredding is completed, we issue a Certificate of Destruction verifying that all materials were securely destroyed.
Can I pay with a credit card? Can I pay with a credit card? Yes, you can pay online with a credit card or provide your information over the phone. We also accept checks or you can pay on-site after the shredding is complete.
Does the Certificate of Destruction cite that you are NAID AAA Certified for mobile shredding? Yes, our NAID AAA Certification status is noted on the Certificate should you ever need to show documentation that your items were destroyed.
Recycling
All shredded material is transported to a recycling plant, where it is hydro-pulped and used to make new paper products.
What items can/cannot be shredded? There is no need to remove staples, binder clips, paper clips, rubber bands, or hanging file folders. Due to recycling restrictions, however, we cannot shred 3-ring binders or large amounts of plastic or metal along with the paper, those items must be addressed separately.
